Willow

Night night Willow. I will think of you everytime I punch out paper hexies for my English Paper Piecing as you always grumbled at the noise. Love you.

Willow

Willow has come to live with us. I had a nearly finished quilt which I found under the eaves in the attic ages ago. I had stuffed it there as I didn't like it when I was making it and then I had forgotten about it. I found it when looking for something else and thought I would put the blocks together and finish it off. Hated putting the blocks together. Hated the finished result. Had sewn down two sides of the binding (least favourite job ever when it comes to quilts) and dropped it down and left it because I didn't like the quilt anyway. Cat took to sleeping on it. Hung it on the washing line to blow away some of the cat hair - it rained. Washed and tumble dried the quilt and cut off the excess binding from the two edges I hadn't sewn down. Donated it to Willow's basket and she loves it!
