Three things
Another finished quilt - on a roll.... This is for the huge Alzheimer's project in Scotland next year but I will post it after Christmas when some of the madness has stopped. Quilted on Nessie but I have only just finished the binding.
Progress to show Lynda - I have got a bit further since taking the photo but nothing is ironed or de-dog-eared (Mark always says that sounds cruel).
And finally, this is the result when your cat knocks your box of Ready Brek onto the floor and the puppy gets to it before you do.....

Last quilt on Nessie
This is the last quilt I quilted on Nessie before selling her. It is not the final quilt though as I have got about two more to bind. I had to move my binding pile to photograph this one as I leave them draped over the upstairs bannister. When moving them, they all slipped down the stairs. Before I even had time to swear under my breath, Kaboodle had moved in....

Pantograph present for Penny
My first pantograph quilt. A present for Penny - I knew she wouldn't be fussy about it. She posed lovely for me and was rewarded with a biscuit!
This is my first official finish that was quilted on NessieJ but my 12th for the year so far.

Name change
Have changed Noodle's name to Penny. I kept shortening it and in six months' time, I didn't want to be in the park shouting for "Nood" (nude).....
So here we have Penny and Scarlett together on the sofa.

NessieJ
On the way home this evening I saw a sticker on a Land Rover. It said "don't grow up, buy bigger toys".

Eleven - for Rugby Pawprints
Finish number eleven for the year so far. This one I am going to donate to Rugby Pawprints for them to auction/raffle whatever to help raise some money. Mark insisted I photograph the back as this was the uglyist (sp?) fabric I could find this year at Malvern....

Assistance needed
Does this need a border? I think maybe it does, but then again, maybe it doesn't..... Thanking you in anticipation of your assistance.

Quilt for Evie
This is my 10th quilt finish for the year so far (I counted). Another Bonnie Hunter pattern - scrappy bargello - very in vogue at the moment... This is for Evie who is Ann's first grandchild. The quilt was finished a little while ago but they did know the sex of the baby and then they couldn't decide on a name..... Still, finished and delivered now.

Sadness, sadness, they call it sadness...
OK, sad in the extreme - what can I say? I have no life..... Had an empty vase so started to fill it AGES ago to see how long it would take to fill but, in my typical fashion, forgot to write down when I started to fill it. Now somebody at Lutterworth is collecting empty spools for a competition at a quilt exhibition so I think I will empty this and start again..... If someone has a use for them, it has to be good....

Rocheberie mystery - how many years ago?
This feels like my first finish in ages. This was a Rocheberie mystery day - but I can't remember how long ago - at least a couple of years I think. I had cut out lots more mice to go on it but when I decided it was time to get a move on with it and get it done, I couldn't work out where I had planned to put them, so I left them off.

Fame!
Wow, I've been mentioned on Bonnie Hunter's blog! Nothing very exciting - I forwarded her a link about a free kindle quilting book that had been mentioned as free on BQL. It did mean my name is mentioned on Bonnie's blog though..... Need to go and walk the dogs and calm down!

Wedding present

A wedding present for Rupert and Claire. They must be married by now - went abroad and I am sure Rupert said they were getting married on the 6th. Reception back here is in a couple of weeks' time. The label says "A wedding present for Rupert and Claire, may all your ups and downs be in bed." There is just one small smackeral of a problem with this quilt..... it was a top I made a little while ago and pulled it out of the UFO pile and quilted it. Mark pointed out to me one night, when we crossed paths on the landing - him coming back from the loo and me just going - that the main fabric I had used in the quilt, glows in the dark......

Finish for Scarlett

On a roll

Another one finished that I also quilted last year but just needed the binding doing. This is a French Braid using a Creative Grids ruler - it was good fun to do but I ended up with long strips of braid and decided to chop them up a bit instead of having long rows. This was my first quilt on Nessie using rulers - well, I had the extended base but didn't have any rulers so Mark found me a huge block of hard perspex - I struggled a bit - couldn't get any of my stitching in the ditch.... it was a good learning curve though and I've got a few rulers to try out now - just need some time....

Finished in February

The pattern is Turning Twenty. I was not overly impressed with the pattern when I made it - it's alright but I wouldn't rush back. It was a good practice top for Nessie though as I quilted a different pattern in all the different block sizes. Finished just in time for the snow forecast for later today...
