Dyeing update
Took my latest batch of dyed fabric along to Rocheberie today and sold all of it! Really pleased as it means I can dye some more now. Nice to have something good to do in this heat wave we are having - it is too hot to be in my sewing room so I am getting sewing machine withdrawal symptoms....

Back in May at Malvern I fell in love with a massive block of the month quilt. As a BOM though it was waaaaaay too much money so I waited until Mark wasn't looking and bought just the patterns. This is the first block. Not 100% finished as it needs some satin stitching for details and all the blocks have log cabin borders but I will do them bits later. I am dyeing all my own fabric for this project - I needed to dye 8 yards of pale blue just for the background. I've done most of the dyeing but still have about 4 yards ish to go. The picture at the top is the next block cut out ready to be sewn together. The whole quilt is pieced, good thing really as I don't like applique.....
