Next door neighbours had a baby girl earlier in the year and called her Matilda. I won a Hugo dog applique from Janet Clare's website which I originally thought I would sew onto a babygro but then reality set in and I realised I hadn't a clue what size to buy so I should stick with making a quilt.
This quilt is lovely, and 'gender-neutral as DD would say! As to babygrows, the second size (3-6 months) is the one to buy, as babies grow very quickly and hardly get any wear out of first size ones.
