Two finishes in the snow

Catching up
A scrap quilt that Mark quilted for practice.
A scrap tumbler.
Some drainage bags which have gone to Rocheberie.

I keep forgetting to update this....
A bag using a random panel, a quilt that is now on the back of the sofa for Halloween and a completely blue quilt (although it doesn't look it from the photo).

Two finishes
The first one is this year's New Year's Day mystery from Longarm University. It is a wholecloth and took me two weeks to quilt - I finished it earlier in the year but have only just put the binding on (as usual).
The next is an English Paper Pieced - I made the top last year (I think) but have just quilted it AND put the binding on ready for a Rocheberie challenge this month.

A few finishes

Deja vu
I had two of the panels so the only thing different is the backing fabric.
I have decided I like large coasters so this is an orphan block quilted and bound....

Last year
It is March already and I haven't even counted up last year's efforts yet.
A total of 15 quilts and 4 lots of other things...
Not much happening so far on the quilting front this year. Moved on the 16th January but have just about unpacked all the boxes now - about 3 left but they have stuff in that I don't know where to put yet.
Packing to move unearths all sorts of things. This is a panel that I have simply quilted. I needed to test out Ness in her new location and wanted to see how long it took to meander quilt a cot sized panel - 25 minutes. The binding took longer than the time to quilt it.

more finishes
Three more finishes - the first is a scrappy one just for general use, the next one is for Linus and is made from Aldi fat quarters featuring Tinkerbell and the third one is plain fabric and African fabric.

Went to my first workshop in an absolute age on Thursday. Gail Lawther at Lutterworth Piecemakers. I finished my project on the day - all apart from the binding - and then had to get my (workshop) sewing machine back out today as I had missed a bit when quilting the background. An Oyster Catcher. I chose this pattern (from the four available) as I am sure Mark and me have seen these at Bridlington.
