Latest bits

At the last Rocheberie meeting I was given a bag of Liberty scraps "as I use small bits" - small was not the word. I made 4 mug rugs just not to be defeated!!!! The hair scrunchie was a demo and was a really clever way of turning fabric tubes on the sewing machine. The scissor keeper was today's EPIC FAIL. It was a freebie at the Festival of Quilts last weekend and I crashed and burned over it this morning.... I am sure it isn't meant to be like that but it was a printed fabric panel with no picture of the finished article. The instructions might as well have been for origami and I had to enlist Mark's help to try and work them out. I am sure it isn't right though - the top flap just blows in the wind...

Look what Mark did

For the base he used the same design they use for quilt stands - I told him going to quilt shows was a good thing....

Albert

Nan shares a lounge with Albert in her care home so I made him a quilt to go over the back of his chair.

Like buses

A dinosaur panel very simply quilted for Linus, an old UFO that just needed binding and a bag for Karen as she liked the one I made for Sarah.
