New toys!

A bag cutting die and poppers and the pliers to attach them with - beats sewing on buttons and they open and close with a satisfying click!

Bag and box quilt

Went to Bramble Patch on Tuesday to see the Christmas exhibition. Came back with this small halloween bag kit (from the sale section) because I loved the spider fabric! The quilt was a UFO from ages ago - a Rocheberie workshop on a Sunday with Susan Briscoe. It was supposed to have circles appliqued on it as well but nah, am calling it finished.

Like buses

A dinosaur panel very simply quilted for Linus, an old UFO that just needed binding and a bag for Karen as she liked the one I made for Sarah.

A bag finish

A bag made a while ago - but I've only just put the handles on. Bag handles are like binding, just don't get done!

A bag finish

Not a very good photo - look at the state of my ironing board cover! A bag finish - supposed to be for gardening stuff?...... I have already filled it with fabric. It was a free pattern in the latest Create and Craft magazine - I emailed them as the size of the end panel was wrong - no response yet...

Scarlett, quilt and bag

Scarlett with her stitches - which she has now had removed - and she is doing really well. Finally finished my quilt from this year's New Year's Day mystery - not been washed yet but I want a sunny day for that (not holding my breath).
and last but not least, Sheila, who I have shared an office with on and off at work for about 20 years, is retiring tomorrow. I found this fabric in January which is perfect as it features a westie and a lab on the brown fabric and westies on the green fabric and Sheila has got - yes, a westie and a lab. Bought the fabric in Jan, finished the bag today and Sheila finishes work tomorrow.... Perfect timing....

A "doing stuff" day

Penny's Christmas present:
(with Daisy being in on the secret...) A finished bag (was just waiting for the handles)
And, a name badge, in case I ever forget who I am on a workshop (and because I hate it when sticky name labels get caught in my hair)

Cat bag

A small finish, but still a finish..... Have been busy moving furniture, helping Mark (and Daisy) build new Ikea flat pack furniture, moving more furniture, hoovering where the old furniture was etc etc.

Bumble bee bag

Very pleased with myself today as made this bag and even put a zip in it - oh yes, get me!!!! It was a demo at Rocheberie quilters yesterday and the instruction sheet was 10 pence - what a bargain.
