Rocheberie challenge complete
This is my fifth - and final - UFO finish for the Rocheberie challenge this year. I made this top on the Devon retreat in Feb 2017 but it is now quilted and bound.

The Cottage Hotel, Hope Cove, sewing retreat
Have just come back from a week in Devon. Had a fantastic time and managed to complete my quilt top I took with me - whoop whoop. We had storm Doris while we were there. The worst of it was at night and kept most of the hotel awake. The wind made the windows squeek and once awake, that was it - far too windy/noisy to get back to sleep.
I had a finish just before leaving for the retreat (the night before). I made a bag for Ani from the fabric scraps she gives me to take to be recycled by the Lutterworth Leukaemia charity shop.

DeLoa Jones in Devon
Have just spent three days on a course with DeLoa Jones at Ani's Catt's shop in Devon - had a brilliant time. My workbook gradually disintegrated as the patterns got more complicated:
This is some of DeLoa's quilting:
and this is what I have done after coming home:
