This is the New Year's Day mystery quilt for this year - I am nearly finished!!!!! I didn't start on NYD.....

First finish of the year

Rocheberie are going a challenge this year - 5 UFOs to be finished and taken to the 5 remaining meetings - and then there is a prize for everybody who completes all five. This is my first finish of the year - at the start of the year I had the basket blocks made but putting them together was far more involved than it should have been. I am not a huge fan of miniature stuff - the finished basket blocks are 2". It really is finished though - it has a hanging sleeve and everything - although I've just realised it hasn't got a label on it....

A new one

A new English Paper Piecing project just started.

First finish of the year

This is about a quarter of the size it was supposed to be - I lost track of counting triangles and gave up.... I also managed to get some of them the wrong way round.....

Finishes for 2017

10 quilts, 9 "things", 4 bags and 1 top (sent to Ani). I have done more than I thought.....

A Thing

I haven't done my count yet but I don't think I have many finishes for this year..... This was a start and finish today though - a thread catcher thing.... uses 2 1/2" squares and I have lots of those....

Rocheberie challenge

At the September meeting we were given two half meters of fabric and wadding and instructed to make a quilt!
